The Adventure of the Spa Removal

It started early on a Saturday morning when my father began the process of removing the old hot tub sitting on the back deck of their newly purchased Los Angeles home. Then he said, “You could have that job done by some boys down the road for a one hundred dollar bill. They took less than two hours to remove the spay that was left in our back yard.” We both agreed that it would have been nice to know that about six hours earlier. I would have gladly paid twice that amount to not have spent five of the worst hours of my life trying to do what it obviously took “professionals” to do.
